A date calculator that shows its work

90daysfromtoday.net answers one question very well: what date is a given number of days from today — or ago? It started with 90 days and now covers any number, with business days, U.S. holidays and calendar export built in.

How dates are calculated

  • Today is day zero. Tomorrow is day 1, so 90 days from today is the 90th day after today. Every page also shows the answer if your rule counts today as day 1.
  • Calendar days by default. Weekends and holidays are included unless you switch on business days.
  • Your time zone.All dates are computed in your browser using your device's clock, so “today” is your today, wherever you are. Pages are also pre-built every hour for fast loading and then corrected to your local date instantly.
  • Months and leap years. Month lengths and February 29 are handled automatically by the date-fns library.

Business days and holidays

Business days are Monday through Friday. When “skip U.S. federal holidays” is on, the eleven U.S. federal holidays are skipped using their observeddates: a fixed-date holiday that falls on a Saturday is observed the Friday before, and one on a Sunday is observed the Monday after. State, local, religious and company holidays aren't included, so check your own calendar for those.

The holiday list on each page also includes a few widely observed non-federal days (such as Valentine's Day and Halloween) for reference; these never affect business-day counts.

Accuracy and corrections

The calculations are deterministic and checked against known dates, including weekend-observed holidays and daylight-saving changes. The guides on popular durations summarize common rules (like Net 30 terms or the Schengen 90/180 rule) and link you back to official sources for anything with legal, tax or immigration consequences.
